Rocket Car To Break 1000mph Mark



Pilot Andy Green of the RAF achieved the fastest speed ever recorded on land 763mph with Thrust SuperSonic Car on October 15, 1997 and now the project group is building a new car to break the 1000mph mark.

The car is 12.8-metres long, weighs 6,400kg and has uses the Typhoon jet engine from a Eurofighter, along with rocket and piston-engine propulsion. So it’s a hybrid!
